A nativity scene made up of wooden boxes with the names of the Holy Family
Dear friends, colleagues and readers,
with Christmas wishes, we are pleased to send you the usual biannual NL.
Since June, imposing activities have followed one another; the foremost among them consists of the design and creation of the volume and the Exhibition Light from Light. Nicaea 1700 years later, activities that allowed us to confer prestige upon the anniversary of the first Ecumenical Council in the history of the Church, so dear to Pope Leo and the Patriarch of Constantinople Bartholomew I. Thanks to the context of the Meeting of Rimini, we were able to communicate this to a great many people, and we ourselves entered into a very fruitful dialogue with many colleagues, artisans, and artists, students, and volunteers. We were able to experience with entirely new astonishment the specific function of theology for evangelisation and how necessary the shared experience of faith in the Mystery of the Living Christ within the Church is for a sound development of theology in dialogue with the world that belongs to us.
The inauguration of the Academic Year, as part of the celebrations for the 40th anniversary of the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross, allowed us to give due prominence to the contribution that Pierpaolo Donati has constantly provided to the ROR since its inception, which has now reached 10 years.
Collaborations are increasingly expanding into networks of networks, encompassing thought and cultural and political creation in the broadest sense. Hoping to accompany you throughout 2026 as well, we wish you days of Thought and Peace.
