Collaborations

Studying relationships means being in relationship, building networks…

Association “Patres”

The aim of the “Patres” association is to develop studies on the relationship between ancient cultures and early Christianity. The aim is to deepen the understanding and communication of the historical process that was generated by the encounter between Christianity and the cultures of the first centuries of our era. This encounter was fundamental for the genesis of Western civilisation.

Genesis Patristic Centre

The Patristic Centre fosters an approach to the Fathers of the Church and, more generally, to ancient Christian thought in close relation to the philosophical reflection of late antiquity. In this regard, there are several convergent and closely related research methodologies: historical-philosophical, philological-literary, theological and exegetical.

Centre of Theology and Philosophy di Nottingham

The Centre is founded on the conviction that these two disciplines cannot be adequately understood or further developed except by reference to each other. It deals specifically with: the historical interaction between theology and philosophy; the current relationship between the two disciplines; attempts to bridge the analytical-continental divide in philosophy; the question of the status of ‘metaphysics’; and the construction of a rich Catholic humanism.
