Trinity and Temporality: a Metaphysical Question between Historical Paradigms and Speculative Approaches

Amphithéatre R. De Naurois, Toulouse, March 19-20, 2024

The ROR co-organized with the Institut Catholique de Toulouse an international conference titled Trinity and Temporality: a Metaphysical Question between Historical Paradigms and Speculative Approaches.

The event, held on March 19-20, 2024, was promoted by the Chair of Philosophy of Christianity of the same Institute and featured distinguished speakers from prestigious European universities, including Piero Coda, Rowan Williams, John Milbank, Judith Wolfe, and Emmanuel Gabellieri.

Among the topics discussed were Trinitarian ontology, theology of history, eschatology, and the relationship between eternity and time. The conferences combined patristic approaches with contemporary philosophical reflections, offering an interdisciplinary overview of this complex theological-philosophical theme. The event is part of a joint project of the ROR with the Institut Catholique de Toulouse and Maynooth University in Dublin.
